This patch is inspired by the log cabin quilt square, historically used in the Underground Railroad to signal a safe house for those seeking freedom. Traditionally, a black center square in a log cabin quilt indicated a home offering protection. This design builds on that legacy, using color symbolism to represent inclusivity, unity, and resistance in today’s fight for justice.

• Yellow rectangles – Represent inclusivity and the light in the window, a beacon of hope for those seeking safety.
• Purple rectangles – Symbolize wisdom and dignity, reflecting the resilience of those who stand for equality.
• Black rectangles – Represent strength and unity, the foundation of a movement that refuses to be divided.
• Blue watch hands – Signify hope, with the hands set to 11:03, a nod to November 3rd, the date of the midterm elections, a pivotal moment for change.
• Safety orange border symbolizes transformation and progress, a bold call to action to right the wrongs being inflicted upon our communities.
