GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
Milkweed Baby offers handmade, small-batch, and curated products. Because handmade products are individually produced, slight variations in stitching, placement, pattern, color, shape, or other details may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and do not necessarily indicate a defect.
Please use all products only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions, age recommendations, warnings, or care information provided with the product or on its product listing.
BABY & CHILDREN'S PRODUCT SAFETY
The safety of children using our products is extremely important to us.
Parents, guardians, and caregivers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for a particular child's age, developmental stage, abilities, and circumstances.
Before each use, an adult should inspect children's products for signs of damage, excessive wear, loose stitching, loose or detached components, or other conditions that could make the product unsafe.
Discontinue use immediately if a product becomes damaged, worn, torn, altered, or otherwise appears unsafe.
Children should be appropriately supervised while using or wearing Milkweed Baby products. Never leave a baby or young child unattended with an item when doing so could present a choking, strangulation, suffocation, entanglement, or other foreseeable safety hazard.
Keep any item containing small, loose, or detachable components away from children for whom those components could present a choking hazard.
Do not allow a child to sleep with or use a product in a sleep environment unless the product is specifically designed, labeled, and sold for that purpose.
Always follow applicable safe-sleep guidance and product-specific safety instructions.
CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES & WEARABLE ITEMS
Ensure that clothing, footwear, accessories, bibs, scarves, hats, headwear, and other wearable products fit appropriately and do not interfere with a child's breathing, movement, vision, or ability to safely use the item.
Remove wearable accessories when appropriate for sleep, car-seat use, unsupervised play, or other circumstances in which the item could become caught, tangled, or otherwise create a hazard.
Products should not be modified or used for a purpose other than the purpose for which they were designed.
SMALL PARTS & DECORATIVE COMPONENTS
Some products may contain decorative elements, fasteners, embellishments, or other components.
Adults should regularly inspect these items to ensure all components remain securely attached.
If any component becomes loose, detached, damaged, or excessively worn, immediately discontinue use and keep the item and any detached components away from children.
Always observe any product-specific age recommendations or choking-hazard warnings provided with an item.
HANDMADE PRODUCTS
Handmade products may naturally vary from photographs or from one another. These variations do not change the requirement that products be used safely and only for their intended purpose.
Handmade items should be cared for according to the instructions provided with the product. Improper washing, alteration, modification, or use may damage an item and could make it unsuitable for continued use.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
By purchasing and using our products, customers agree to follow product instructions, warnings, age recommendations, care instructions, and reasonable safety precautions associated with the product.
Customers are responsible for inspecting products before and during use and for discontinuing use if a product becomes damaged or appears unsafe.
Nothing in this Legal Notice is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any consumer right, warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
REPORTING A PRODUCT SAFETY CONCERN
If you believe a Milkweed Baby product may be damaged, defective, or unsafe, please stop using the product and contact us promptly.
Please include your order information and, when possible, photographs showing the issue so that we can investigate.
